Facebook yesterday announced they’ve redesigned their help center, making it more accessible and easier to use.
Information on the phone’s already starting to leak through the Google (Google) gates, though. Screenshots obtained by gadget blog Gizmodo reveal one of the most important details about the device:…

The Los Angeles Lakers won the 2009 NBA Championship title in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Orlando Magic.

Kobe Bryant was named MVP, and his wish was granted! He won a title without the help of former teammate, Shaq.

Asher Roth releases his first mainstream alum Asleep in the Bread Aisle after branding himself as the college-boy-party-animal from Pennsylvania. He professed his love for weed, chicks, late-night partying, and college life in his slick rhymes, which landed him on the cover of XXL in their Top 10 Freshmen: Hip-Hop Class 2009 Edition.

Asher Roth’s major selling point as a breakthrough artist, to his fans, was that he was able to make his music something that people outside of the “Hip-Hop World” could relate to. People often feel the need to follow the fads of the things they are passionate about, and tend to lose themselves in what they love, but Asher took pride in the fact that he could love Hip-Hop and make his own mold socially, and make Hip-Hop something that more people could relate to, rather than the egocentric music that fills the radio in much of the mainstream rap culture. Should rappers today be thanking Mr.Roth for bringing a higher understanding to the listeners outside of Hip-Hop, and for helping a broader group of listeners (re)connect?

Jordan, Robinson, Stockton, and Sloan were the class of 2009 that was inducted into the NBA HALL of Fame! Congratulations guys:

Michael Jordan… where to begin. Well, lets start where he rolled out of UNC and into the NBA in 1985. He not only led the Chicago Bulls to countless victories (of course with the help of his amazing team), but he has made a name for himself as the greatest basketball player of all time! Michael has also had the honor being a part of the US Olympic Basketball team that was named “The Dream” team, with fellow Hall of Famer David Robinson. Enough about Jordan… his accomplishments speak for themselves:
1984 NBA Rookie of the Year; 2 Olympic Gold Medals (1984, 1992); 2 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Championship Titles (1987, 1988); 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year; 6 time NBA Champion; 6 time NBA Finals MVP; 5 time NBA MVP; 10 NBA Scoring Titles; 14 NBA All-Star Selections; and of course not to mention all of his scoring and defensive records.

10 Time NBA All-Star out of the Navy, David Robinson made a name for himself by helping to greatly improve the Spurs over his career. Along with his 3 appearances on the US Olympic team, he still holds a number of defensive records. Standing at 7 ft tall, the man was named one of the 50 greatest players of all time for helping to turn the Spurs around from their losing record, and for all of his individual achievements.

This 6’ 1” point guard, along with Karl Malone, with the Utah Jazz used to give Jordan and his Bulls a run for their money. This 10-time NBA All-Star was an amazing player, and was able to compete for America in the Olympic games as well! Stockton wasn’t a man for the spotlight, but his moves and dedication to his craft are definitely something to be modeled by future NBA ballers!

Jerry Sloan is in the Hall of Fame for his role as Head Coach for the Utah Jazz! He has a rather impressive overall winning record of over 1,000 career wins, and has been named the 4th best coach in NBA history based on his 16 year dynasty!

So… this guy got caught trying to be sneaky. The result: The State of Illinois investigated allegations of corruption, and based on the evidence, they decided to unanimously remove Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich from office. How embarrassing!

Congratulations to Toyota for becoming the worlds largest automobile manufacturer in 2009! GM held the title for 77 long years, but after facing the hardships from the unfortunate economic downturn that crept up to us in late 2008, Toyota took the throne. Toyota has made a point of becoming the industry leader in “green” technologies, in not only fuel efficiency, but also in the production of their vehicles. We have a lot to look forward to in the near future with the production of new automotive technologies from Toyota and the likes of the remaining car makers of the world!

One of the first major events of 2009 was the Inauguration of our 44th President, Barack Obama. His campaign for HOPE and CHANGE touched the heart strings of millions of Americans and millions across the world.

As Obama and the stunning First Lady danced the night away at the Inaugural Ball…

The world would still hear the new President’s words of hope and encouragement from his Inaugural speech to the American people. Yes, he is the first BLACK PRESIDENT, but he is so much more than that. For many of us he is that reaffirmation that we can achieve anything, and it shows the strength of the American DREAM!
So… I have decided to do a little recap of 2009… stay tuned! :)
